Phentermine Sale Increases Drastically In Singapore

With the sales of the diet pill Phentermine increasing tremendously under the brand names Duromine and Panbesy, it has become evident that Phentermine sales have captured 77 percent of the prescription diet pill market in Singapore . .Further, according to a statement released this year by the International Narcotics Board Report, Singapore ranks fifth among the list of countries with highest per capita consumption of diet pills. The countries that are ranked above Singapore with regard to maximum diet pill consumption are respectively found to be Brazil , Argentina , South Korea and the United States .
A general practitioner with specialization in obesity, Dr Karina Kho makes it clear that Phentermine, the diet pill shows effective results on patients and with the pill; they tend to lose 2kg to 3kg per month on an average basis.
However, as Phentermine is recommended for a short term treatment of obesity, doctors feel that strict supervision is required in relation to its usage. With the physician Dr Wong Choo Wai making it clear that 30 to 50 per cent of his patients suffer from drug side-effects, proper monitoring of Phentermine usage has evolved as extremely necessary.
