Woman Handcuffed For Attempting To Smuggle Phentermine Hydrochloride
On frisking Anchulee Yongarnukul, a 47-year-old Thai woman at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), the security officials recovered 20 packs of Phentermine hydrochloride pills, also known as Bangkok pills from her possession and thereafter arrested her on the charge of smuggling the weight loss drug.
Revealing the details of the arrest, Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) assistant general manager for security and emergency services, Brig. Gen. Angel Atutubo said that while the Thai woman was undergoing security checkup at NAIA Terminal 1's departure lobby, a suspicious bundle was found in a corner of her bag. On uncovering the bundle, 20 small packs containing Phentermine Hydrochloride were revealed.
Though Phentermine Hydrochloride pills are efficient for weight loss they are also known to possess side-effects.
