Woman Convicted Of Attempting To Get Hold Of Phentermine Through Trickery
A Delhi-based woman has been accused and later handcuffed for trying to procure Phentermine from Walgreens pharmacy by making false calls without the drug being prescribed to her by a physician.
According to a revelation by Merced County Sheriff's Department, by impersonating a nurse the 36-year-old alleged culprit, Kristin Gianotti made calls from her home and ordered Phentermine diet pills from Walgreens pharmacy. But a clerk at Walgreens pharmacy soon found out that the assertion made by Kristin Gianotti that she was an employee of a medical office and pills of Phentermine, the weight loss drug were needed there, was completely false which further led to the arrest of the accused on 14 th September.
Subsequent reports revealed that the accused admitted of committing the crime and thereafter she was put up in Merced County Jail.
